Inoo Kei – PARADE Tour Book (English Translation)

I want to feel the importance of each and every live, as it’s the last tour in my 20’s.

When we are creating a work, it doesn’t end with a single item. For example, in our case, there is also a concert at the same time (as the album), rather than making an album and it’s not complete. If we're only thinking about albums, we might only gather minor or cool songs. But when we look at the concerts, our opinion about song selection and concepts also change.

When the production of “PARADE” started, the concept that Yamada proposed was a slightly niche worldview that came from the words “mysterious” and “bewitching”. Of course it was interesting, and there is a possibility that it will become a polished work if we bring it together. However, we still want new people to pick up the album, so we daringly took a step further and broadened the title’s meaning to “PARADE”. The meaning has been broadened, including the live performances. However, that doesn’t mean everything is drawn, but the “parade we want to express” is shown in the jacket photos, costumes and in the MVs. In that sense, it wasn’t just a Hey! Say! JUMP album, but also a new view of the world that was added. I think that part is a bit different to before.

Above all else, “Kemono to Bara” became a good song that shows the worldview, and I feel that the MV was completed well, but I personally regret that I couldn’t take it another step. But that thought leads to the next one, right? Then when we were talking about the album and tour, I felt that the work would be refined by raising our voices. It is necessary in any job to put together the thoughts of various people and put them into shape by a fixed date. At that time, if you somehow stop thinking or take no action because it is troublesome, it will disappear. After all, it’s important that everyone shares their opinion, and I’m going to talk about what I want when the timing is right. In this way, everyone’s voices were combined and the result was the worldview of “PARADE”.

Personally, I wonder if this last tour in my 20’s will be big. To put it bluntly, if there are only a set number of performances you can do in your lifetime, the number of live performances you can do as you become older decreases… When I think of it, it’s a little painful so I feel the importance of every single live. Of course, we still have a long way to go, but I also want to value the last tour in my 20s. Also, I think it would be good to brush up on the Japanese-style corner we made at our Taiwan performance and connect it to Dome. What will happen is the fun of the production! Finally, everyone who got the pamphlet! What do you like about me? Write down what came to your mind on this page! And on my photos, mark my photos so you can see what you like about me! Did you do it? The person who stopped saying, “To write in the pamphlet…” does not have enough love for me (lol). You who picked the pen up without hesitation! I recommend you buy another copy! (lol)
