About your merchandise

When deciding on the personally produced goods this time, the first thing I thought about was what I would want for myself. I wanted to deliver something I genuinely believe is good to my fans. For the design, I focused on expressing a "training vibe" in a playful, pop style by incorporating images of muscles and barbells and playing with the words so that instead of "PULL UP!" it says "PUMP UP!". I also decided to include a shaker ball for mixing protein because it's so convenient. I was especially particular about the colours of the body and lid. At first, I wondered which colours would work best and experimented with options like light blue and all-white. In the end, I chose ones that I think are cute and easy for everyone to use. Of course, I'll be using it myself the next time I go to the gym.

For people who don't usually train, this can also double as a great drink bottle for work or school. I hope everyone uses it freely in their daily lives. At the same time, I hope this merch inspires people to become more acquainted with physical activity. My wish is for everyone to make exercise a habit and maintain their health!

About your new album, "PULL UP!"

During the recording of the album, the song I found most challenging was 'Ano Hi no Yume wo Misasete yo.' My voice is naturally better suited to songs where I can project more, so with ballads and calmer songs, my voice tends to stand out too much. It was tough to consciously control my tone and volume to blend with the song's atmosphere.

The song I have a special attachment to is 'Tokimeku Anata.' This song is about JUMP and the fans who come to our concerts. Everyone, including us, has their own daily lives with various events and thoughts. But, as the lyrics say, "Hey! Say! JUMP" (Today, Hey! Say! JUMP will forgive you), I think it's okay for us to spend a "heart-pounding" (T/N: Tokimeku) time together, at least on the "today" when we meet at concerts. I believe this is a song that truly shines when performed in the same space as the fans, so I'm really looking forward to singing it on tour.

What do you want to "PULL UP"?

Recently, there have been more sports segments on Itadaki High Jump, and filming multiple episodes in a day is physically demanding (laughs). It requires a different set of muscle movements and cardiovascular functions compared to gym training.
Normally, I focus mainly on weight training, but I've been thinking about adding exercises to improve my stamina and athletic ability. If you ignore your physical abilities, they naturally decline, right? That's why I believe daily habits are so important. To be honest, I could just push through during filming, but there's also a sense of pride involved (laughs). I want to maintain my athletic self and PULL UP my physical abilities-not just for filming but also to keep dancing on stage for as long as possible and feel good about myself.

Another thing I want to PULL UP is my small talk skills. I'm generally fine with staying quiet and used to think small talk was for people who didn't have much chance to talk in their daily lives. I didn't see the need for it. However, I've come to realise there are situations in work and social settings where casual conversation can be beneficial. I hope to become someone who can effortlessly engage in
everyday small talk.

Message for fans

Right now, there are a lot of uncertainties, and I'm sure things might feel unsettled. There will likely be changes ahead, but as individuals, we won't change, and we want to continue our activities as a
group, just like we have so far.

Of course, we'll work hard, but I also believe that fans coming to the venues helps maintain this space where we can have fun together. To make sure we don't lose this precious space, I think the most important thing is for everyone to fully enjoy this tour together.
Besides, change isn't always a bad thing—there will definitely be positive changes too. It all depends on our efforts, and I hope you'll look forward to the path we'll take together!
