About your merchandise

I heard that people have been taking the plushies (nuis) from the last tour to all kinds of places. That made me want to create an item that can be used together with the plushies, so I suggested making a scrunchie. Since everyone makes handmade clothes for the plushies, I thought it would be nice to add an extra touch. I focused on the fabric's texture and a simple design that wasn't too overpowering. If you buy two, you can use one to tie your hair and the other to put on the plushie like bunny ears, so you can enjoy matching with them.

As a bonus, there's also a small scrunchie included, so you can put it on the plushie's wrist, and the larger scrunchie can be worn on your wrist, making it look like coordinated accessories. I also want to wear one on my wrist as an accessory, so the plushies, the fans, and I can all match!

About your new album, "PULL UP!"

The 15th anniversary concerts were so great with audience unity and response that figuring out what to do next was a really tough challenge. We felt like we had given it our all in a good way, so I thought a theme of taking the next step with everyone would be great, and the concept of "PULL UP" came to mind.

Also, Yamada said, "Choose songs with the staging in mind," which allowed me to be deeply involved from the album's creation.
This time, rather than selecting songs from demos, most of the songs were requested based on what we wanted to achieve and the songs we wanted. For example, 'Ready to Jump' started from a casual conversation at the MV shoot for 'DEAR MY LOVER.' Yamada, Chinen, and Yuto showed me a video of SO-SO's amazing human beatboxing, which led to us talking about wanting to work with him. 'Tokimeku Anata' was created by Kawatani Enon with the thought of what it would be like if JUMP sang one of his songs, and we left it entirely up to him. He created an idol song for JUMP and the fans with a Kawatani-san-like sound. The lyrics are also great.

Another interesting song is 'please, 'Q'uickly!' At the end of 2022, Chinen and I went to an arcade during some free time from work and had fun with QuizKnock's buzzer game. During an album meeting, the idea of creating a fun conceptual song came up and I remembered that moment, so we reached out to QuizKnock.

Every time we received a song from these wonderful people, it felt like another piece was falling into place. For the tour, I want to create a space where everyone can enjoy the present JUMP with these amazing songs and even more evolved sets.

What do you want to "PULL UP"?

Lately, I've been PULLING UP the time I enjoy lunch. Until now, I used to eat my first meal (of the day) around 3 PM and have dinner late at night. I often skipped lunch because I wanted to sleep until the last minute before heading to work, and even when I had the time, I preferred to relax at home. But after I discovered the fun in having lunch, I've naturally started going out more often.

Plus, by eating lunch at the proper time, I get hungry around 6 PM and have dinner, which means I no longer go to bed on a full stomach. Thanks to this, my body is healthier! At this pace, I hope to become an adult who can enjoy breakfast as well.

Message for fans

Fans can't help but feel anxious, right? That's why I think it's important for us to show them the "usual JUMP."
By showcasing ourselves as a group of eight singing and dancing, and our fun, playful side through concerts, media, and social media, I believe it will reassure everyone that "JUMP is still JUMP." Of course, there are still things we can't see clearly, so there have been many discussions among the members. The decisions we've made about our group name and songs are all conclusions we reached after discussing them over and over.

We want to share our decisions with our fans as soon as possible to give them some reassurance. More than anything, during this tour, we want to show the new JUMP in our 16th year, working hard towards our 20th anniversary, so I hope you'll look forward to it.
