1 on 1 talk with everyone's direct hit questions!
In response to questions and themes selected from the readers in the February issue, the members became four pairs and talked loosely ♪ The messages from fans were full of love, and JUMP also livens up the talk with the power of love!!
Yamada Ryosuke and Chinen Yuri

Which member would you choose to go with to Disneyland in Chiba? (Rinringo)
Yamada: Chinen often goes.
Chinen: That's right. Recently, we both went to Disneyland once or twice, both of us. He said, "I think that's the right place to enjoy the winter atmosphere".
Yamada: Because we both like the winter.
Chinen: We couldn't take part in that because there were attractions lined up everywhere. He said, "Let's only ride one", and lined up with me to explore.
Yamada: It was crowded that day.
Chinen: After all, waiting 60 minutes for a game where you roll a ball and get about 500 yen at one time?!
Yamada: I said, "Let's do it!", but I gave up.
Chinen: We've talked about our memories of Disneyland until now, but we haven't answered the reader's question of "Who do you want to go with?"
Yamada: You're a good guy (laughs).
Chinen: When it comes to people I want to go with, I can't imagine how a realist like Kota would accept the fantasy world. I want to see if he's in high spirits, or if he says he wants to go home.
Yamada: Wouldn't it be interesting if I went to Disneyland with Yuya? What kind of chemical reaction would happen (laughs).
Chinen: Wouldn't Yuya be in high spirits and say, "Eh~h♪" if he surprisingly went with you? It was a while back, so I don't know.
Yamada: Also, because he's nice, he would without a doubt say, "I'll buy you a drink, so wait here".

Please tell me about the scent of the fabric softener you use. (Mayu)
Yamada: We used to talk about the fabric softener used in Johnny-san's house that had a nice smell in our Jr. days.
Chinen: That fabric softener has become popular all over the world.
Yamada: Yeah, I still use that one. The various smells have changed, but recently it is a floral scent.
Chinen: About two years ago, I was using the same fabric softener as Kota. When he said, "Huh? Chinen, isn't that my smell?", we talked about which fabric softener we used, and it turned out to be the same one. I've changed it many times since then.
Yamada: We are not so concerned about it.
Chinen: Yutti seems like the type to be concerned about detergent.
Yamada: He seems like he's uses a good one.
Chinen: Actually, he recommended that it would be better if I washed up with one. Ryosuke also seems particular about smell, too.
Yamada: I tend to wear perfume so I'm not particular about fabric softener... so I don't have to go shopping often, it's best to buy the large size for business use.
Chinen: When it comes to meals, you're the type who doesn't enjoy soup stock or the flavour of ingredients, everything has a dash of soy sauce.
Yamada: Hahaha! Certainly, I am the type who likes a strong flavour (laughs).
Who is a person you admire that you couldn't even say a word to if you meet them because you're nervous? (Nagi)

Yamada: I think I would be really nervous if I met Leonardo DiCaprio. He's a person I really admire, so I might tense up.
Chinen: In my case, I can't speak English, so I physically can't speak English to foreigners (laughs). Even if I could speak it, for example, if there is a foreign soccer player, he certainly won't know me, and even if we meet, I may not be nervous.
Yamada: Indeed.
Chinen: On the other hand, if you are Japanese I will get nervous (laughs). When I went to greet Kimura-san (Takuya) in the dressing room, I was very nervous.
Yamada: Ahh! It's exciting!
Chinen: I don't know how much is good to introduce myself!
Yamada: First of all, you should start with, "Do you know this thing?"
Chinen: When Kimura-san came to the shooting studio, I said, "Good morning! I am Hey! Say! JUMP's Chinen", and he replied, "I know". I thought, "Really?", and I was happy. So I was really nervous.
If you were a YouTuber, what kind of videos would you make? (Himu)
Chinen: I would like to try different genres, but if I'm doing it as a Johnny, I would share [What is good at this minute and this second] while appreciating Arashi's live DVD.
Yamada: That's nice! I also want to watch the Chinen who participates in an offline meeting for Arashi fans.
Chinen: Also, when I watch the making of on the DVD, I can surprisingly understand it. Just by looking at the backgrounds, I can say things like it was shot at that studio. So I could go there later and introduce that aspect of shooting, and if I can, show the perspective of being on the side of the same agency.
Yamada: If I did it, I would definitely do Game Let's Plays! I would gather with all the people who like games in Johnny's, and put out a video once a week.
Chinen: (In Kansai dialect). Yamada-kun, who are you starting from?
Yamada: That would be (Nagase) Ren. (laughs). Well, actually, recently, my game friends have been increasin
g amongst kouhais like Tanaka Seiji, so if I invite someone I wonder if they will do it.
Chinen: If it's a livestream, you can have fans take turns participating in the party we have created, and we can fight together.
Yamada: That's the kind of content you can do with YouTube. However, if the Game Let's Plays don't go well, they can't be established, so for that reason I have to go home today and play games (laughs).
If all of JUMP goes to karaoke while filming, what do you sing first? (Lemon Tea)
Chinen: If we all went to the karaoke bar...
Yamada: Hm? Karaoke bar? Sorry, I got mixed up. (laughs). (T/N: This uses the kanji for shop so it comes across as "Karaoke shop")
Chinen: Eh? Don't you say karaoke bar?
Yamada: I feel like you're already referring to a shop about karaoke.
Chinen: So, isn't karaoke an empty orchestra?
Yamada: That's right! So... let's go with karaoke bar! (laughs).
Chinen: If all of us went to the karaoke bar, I think it would start with the former members of J.J. Express who can easily get into it and will say, "What are you going to put on?"
Yamada: By the way, didn't we go out to karaoke for the 10th anniversary of JUMP's debut? Each member sang their favourite JUMP song, and everyone sang something. Sure enough, I can't remember what the songs were. But it was fun.
Chinen: It was fun! Yuya is the type who says, "Wah! How nostalgic!", while choosing songs with the remote, so it seems like he will sings songs he hasn't done at lives or coupling.
Yamada: When everyone sings, I think it's a mood of, "Let's start from our debut song"
Chinen: Yeah. And we don't sing seriously. Kota is loud, and inserts weird raps where it's irrelevant (laughs).
Yamada: Then, as time passes by, people who have reached their limit will return home. That's what happened last time.
Chinen: Surely, I feel that Hika and me returned home first.
Yamada: And, the ones who were the last ones left were myself and Yabu-chan who paid the bill. It was expensive!
Inoo Kei and Arioka Daiki

What has surprised you recently about member's actions? (Benyo)
Inoo: Surprised? By a member's actions? When we were touring, I was surprised to see Dai-chan go into Travis Japan's dressing room for something. What were you doing?
Arioka: Nah, I don't want to say much about it because I did it for the making of the live DVD.
Inoo: Can't you say it?
Arioka: A little. I'm thinking of connecting it together with Johnny's web.
Inoo: Ah— Well, then it will be spoiled and that won't be good, so then it won't be used in the making (laughs).
Arioka: Ahaha!
Inoo: What else has happened... No matter what the members do, I'm not surprised anymore.
Arioka: During the tour, Yamada kept on imitating an old man who was selling sweet potatoes. When our eyes would meet, he would say "Potato!", it's a character I don't understand.
Inoo: He did do it all the time! I saw it! I saw it!
Arioka: At the time, when I saw, "Uchi no gaya ga sumimasen"...
Inoo: Huh? Who was doing that?
Arioka: Inada-san (Naoki) from Einstein said to Yamada that he would teach him how to impersonate. I thought he would surely be taught that "Potato!" And I was excited, but it was completely wrong. I heard, "It's wrong" (laughs).
Inoo: Was it wrong?
Arioka: What on earth was even that joke? I don't know the original joke. I also don't know the reason it came about.
Inoo: Well. During the tour when Yamada had high tension, he was doing it all the time.
Arioka: He really had MAX tension. Especially the last performance in Fukuoka felt like that.
Inoo: Is that so?
Arioka: During the tours, the one who is always energetic is Chinen. He prepares quickly, so he has nothing to do and is always restless. He is basically not the type to stand still and will go back and forth to the place where members are getting make-up.
Inoo: That's certainly true. But sometimes when the third day comes, there are times when his tension is low (laughs).
Arioka: Is that so?
Inoo: He says, "I can't"
Arioka: Yeah. Yeah. He says things like, "My body is sore" (laughs).
Inoo: In that sense, I wonder if Dai-chan does weird things? He's quite serious. I'm sure someone has told him that he's done weird things on TV!!
Arioka: Hey! Stop interfering with my business! What I often saw during the tour was Inoo-chan wearing earphones, laying down on the sofa and always grinning. I was wondering what he was doing... and he was listening to the radio.
Inoo: The radio is very interesting!
Arioka: What are you listening to? Ariyoshi-san's (Hiroiki) program?
Inoo: Yes. Yes. Also, King Gnu's Vocals. Iguchi Satoru-san's program.
Arioka: Ehh... I don't really listen to the radio much.
Inoo: I've been listening to it for the last two years.
Arioka: When I'm in the car, maybe I'll hear Watanabe-san's (Ken) "GOLD RUSH".

Who takes the lead in JUMP at a closing party or meal party? Is the seating order decided? (Bou)
Inoo: I guess Hikaru will lead the toast.
Arioka: Yeah. When we form a circle at the lives, Hikaru-kun always speaks out.
Inoo: Yeah.
Arioka: I wonder if Hikaru-kun would say a few words while toasting.
Inoo: It maybe hasn't been recently that just members have only gone to a meal.
Arioka: For a while, members had been going to meals alone, but at the time Yamada made a reservation at the restaurant. But recently, that hasn't happened. At the time of the tour, the event planner will make a reservation at the restaurant, so I feel like everyone goes there.
Inoo: That's why the seating order isn't seriously decided. We just sit in the back in the order we arrived in. There isn't a group that has their seating order for meals decided, right?
Are you particular about anything when watching a movie? (Little Miss Sunshine)
Arioka: When I watch a movie, I definitely buy cola and popcorn. I will buy it as long as the movie doesn't seem too depressing. When the scene is gloomy, it's hard to eat popcorn.
Inoo: I never buy popcorn. I pretty much buy cola and tea for drinks, but I also drink those a little.
Arioka: I see. I should buy the biggest cola and drink it.

Inoo: Are you okay for the bathroom?
Arioka: I'm fine. Before I see it properly, I go to the bathroom. Maybe because I'm eating popcorn, I get thirsty.
Inoo: Indeed. Well, maybe I should sit in the middle.
Arioka: I basically sit in the middle. If it's not extremely in front, I'm fine with anywhere. Recently, you can reserve seats online in advance. I always make a reservation then go.
Inoo: I do the same.
Arioka: Speaking of which, when I was heading towards the movie theatre on the escalator, the people who had finished watching were on the escalator going down, and we passed by each other. Those people were talking about their thoughts and it seemed likely that you could hear spoilers. So I'm careful not to talk about my thoughts until after I leave the movie theatre.
Inoo: I tend to maybe be influenced by the contents of the movie. Even if I promised to eat a meal after the movie with my friends who I watched the movie with, when the movie has depressing contents, I might say I am going home and just like that, there are times I might leave.
Arioka: There are also things like that.

What kind of smell do you like? (Mirei)
Inoo: Favourite smell—
Arioka: I like the smell of dinner that hangs in the air from somewhere when I'm walking in the back alleys.
Inoo: In the evening.
Arioka: Yes. Yes. I think, "Ah— This house might be having curry tonight?".
Inoo: What is my favourite smell... I am healed by sweet smells and flower smells. Even for fabric softeners, I tend to choose floral smells.
Arioka: I'm not particular about scent to that extent... I only wear perfume at the lives. But at the lives, perfume can make your mood better. What is the scent of the perfume I use... how should I explain it?
Inoo: I wonder what that is.
Arioka: At the lives, Inoo-chan wears my perfume. Takaki and Chinen also do.
Inoo: I constantly want to feel Dai-chan close, so I always borrow it~
Arioka: What is that (laughs). And Yamada also copies my perfume, buys it and uses it. So, during the lives, more than half of JUMP should have the same smell.
Inoo: It might be good to put a very huge diffuser at the venue and let everyone be clouded in that scent!
Arioka: It's a new direction (laughs)
Nakajima Yuto and Takaki Yuya

JUMP has nine members, so do you have a habit in each dance? (naa)
Nakajima: There is!
Takaki: Is there? I don't know every member!
Nakajima: When Yabu-kun dances, his movements gradually become smaller.
Takaki: Ah— I get it.
Nakajima: Inoo-chan basically doesn't dance lively. The way Yamada-san uses his chest and waist is... erotic.
Takaki: It's great.
Nakajima: When we were on the previous "SENSE or LOVE" tour, Chinen who was dancing to Yabu-kun's solo song was beautiful. The expressiveness was incredible and it caught my eye.
Takaki: That is a dance only he can do! Also, because of the recent influence of his bad friend Dai-chan (laughs), the songs he listens to and the clothes he wears has changed.
Nakajima: Bad friend (laughs)
Takaki: So a while ago when I saw Chinen dancing to "Ride With Me" on the "PARADE" tour, it seemed like the way he danced in the A melody (T/N: There's no translation for this since it's a Japanese concept but it's similar to verse) felt like a rapper, and I thought, "Hey! Dai-chan! What have you done to my Chinen?" (laughs). What's more, his posture is low! (Arioka, who is nearby, says, "It's low so I can to show myself behind his back (laughs)")
Nakajima & Takaki: Hahaha!
Nakajima: So, returning to the story, there are times where Yaotome-san is aware. He says things like, "The position where you stand is here~"
Takaki: I don't know how Keito's dancing is doing now (laughs).
Nakajima: That might be dancing like Chinen in America (laughs). When Keito was in Japan, his dancing was picking out something fundamental.
Takaki: Yeah. His movements were bright. Yuto's dancing has a beautiful image because he properly uses his long arms and legs. I'm also tall, but I move my arms and legs in the shortest distance.
Nakajima: Takaki's dancing is erotic. It's because he dances with messy hair. Also, what made me think who was really good at dancing on this tour was our backup dancers who accompanied us, Travis Japan.
Takaki: They were great!
Nakajima: During this time, I met Mamiya (Shotaro) after a long time at the cast party for the drama "Boku wa doko kara". He came to see us at the live and said, "Those guys who came out halfway through who were really good? They were really cool!". He was praising Travis Japan.
Takaki: The sense of stability is amazing!
Nakajima: Yeah. The build of their bodies is a dancer!
Takaki: The talk of Travis Japan's great dancing (laughs).
I would like you to talk about your smartphones (Arioka-kun With Love Team)
Nakajima: I don't have a case on my smartphone, just the screen protector and ring.
Takaki: I was just thinking of changing my smartphone, then Arioka-kun gave me a new smartphone case! When Chinen begged Arioka-kun, I also took advantage of it and he gave me one. So I have the same as Chinen (laughs).
Nakajima: My standby screen is a photo of a green foxtail that I took when I was abroad (takes out smartphone). Ah, Brava-kun has docking trouble...
Takaki: Who?
Nakajima: Cleaning robot.
Takaki: Eh? Do you contact it like that?
Nakajima: Yeah.
Takaki: Eh~ That's convenient~
Nakajima: I like the type of apps that make life easier. Like apps that allow you to record TV programs while you're out.
Takaki: What's that?! Amazing!! The ones I often use is an app with an IC boarding feature, a taxi dispatch app, an app for home delivery of food, and an app to find restaurants published in the Michelin guide.
Nakajima: Michelin! That's sophisticated!
Takaki: Also a manga app. Yuto, do you read manga?
Nakajima: I don't read it at all.
Takaki: I see other members reading manga quite a bit, but speaking of that, I don't think I've seen Yuto doing it.
Nakajima: Yabu-kun has said to me, "Huh? You've never read One Piece?"
Takaki: Well, right now he's reading 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba'.
Nakajima: Everyone's saying that. "Demon Slayer", "Demon Slayer". When a new art is released, I hear it's very cool so I'm thinking about reading it!

Please talk passionately about the type of oden you like (Shimi Shimi Daikon-chan)
Nakajima: Beef tendon.
Takaki: I like octopus.
Nakajima: Octopus. Octopus is good!
Takaki: But, if you have to go to an oden restaurant, isn't it wonderful?
Nakajima: That's right. When the octopus is put in, more dashi comes out and the oden itself looks delicious.
Takaki: But if I buy oden at the convenience store, I certainly have to put in beef tendons. Depending on the restaurant, there are types where the shop assistants will let you take it. When I lifted the beef tendon skewer, the one on the end came off in the bowl and I thought, "Dammit!". But the price is the same, so they let me take.
Nakajima: Ah~ I get it (laughs). After the "PARADE" tour in Fukuoka, the oden we ate at the food stall was delicious! After a long time, I could eat the mochi kinchaku I loved when I was a child. The shirataki noodles were also delicious!
Takaki: The shirataki noodles are tied together, right? I used to cut that knot with chopsticks to make noodles and then eat it. I was happy that the portion has increased.
Nakajima: What's that? That's a very cute story (laughs).
I want you to talk about the memories of the "PARADE" tour without using English (I am JK)
Nakajima: Okay, let's try it!
Takaki: The "PARADE" tour...
Nakajima: Wait! You suddenly said, "PARADE" and "tour" (laughs) (T/N: Tour is a borrowed word from English in Japanese).
Takaki: I gave up from the beginning (laughs).
Nakajima: PARADE is a march or a short journey. A short journey concert performance? (laughs). 4 large... 4 large... what is that?
Takaki: Four large venues in Japan.
Nakajima: We went there. Then, after the performance in Osaka, I ate eel bento and the bone got stuck in my throat.
Takaki: It did! I thought it was pitiful as I watched. When I eat deep-fried horse mackerel, it usually gets stuck!
Nakajima: Deep-fried horse mackerel! Hahaha!
Takaki: "Deep-fried" horse mackerel! (laughs) (T/N: Yuya previously used aji fry, but is now using ajiage. Age means deep-fried too).
Nakajima: That is a shock.
Takaki: Shock!
Nakajima: Ah, that's bad~ I can't use that at all! Well, it was a "shock". (T/N: Shock is a borrowed word from English, but Yuto is using shougeki here).
Takaki: This time, Travis Japan came with us.
Nakajima: It's impossible for Travis Japan to be written in Japanese!
Takaki: Well, what about the seven juniors?
Nakajima: Oh! Let's do it!
Takaki: So watching the seven juniors who confidently introduce themselves at the MC...
Nakajima: MC... (is caught up in MC)
Takaki: When I was a Jr. and I was in the back-up for my seniors, I thought it was amazing when we would introduce ourselves one by one with our best efforts.
Nakajima: Jr., buzz! Back-up, buzz!
Takaki: That's why I had given up from the beginning! (laughs)
Yabu Kota and Yaotome Hikaru

If you had a budget of 500,000 yen over 10 days to do whatever you like, what would you do? (PKL)
Yaotome: There is a place in Okinawa called Onna, where it seems you can grow small mangos and there are lots of unique ingredients. I want to live there for 10 days.
Yabu: Okinawa~ That's nice!
Yaotome: Or, maybe I will relax around Boso Peninsula in Chiba. I've been there shortly for location shooting...
Yabu: You can go in one day!
Yaotome: Yes, yes. However, I feel like it will be fun even if I spend the time carefully. Recently, I've only been having dreams about fishing, so I want to fish.
Yabu: Do you regularly fish?
Yaotome: I don't. But when I was little I always did it with my father, so I know how fun it is!
Yabu: I want to travel all over Japan by car, and stay in cities that are all different for 10 days. 1 city, 1 day.
Yaotome: That sounds interesting!
Yabu: I want to drive to various places, stay in a good hotel in the places I'm staying and eat delicious food!
What are you doing recently to increase your tension? (Saki)
Yaotome: Recently, I finally assembled my sandbag!
Yabu: The one you got from your sister?
Yaotome: Yeah, yeah. My sister is also learning martial arts, so she gave me a sandbag that she no longer uses. But when I opened it, the instruction manual and the screws to assemble it with weren't there. So I especially asked the manufacturer and they sent the instruction manual by mail, and I bought the screws at the hardware store.
Yabu: It's good not to neglect it.
Yaotome: Lately, when I wake up in the mornings, I play music while I punch the sandbag lightly.
Yabu: I also went to the gym today. Because I have more time in the morning.
Yaotome: Yabu listens to things like anime songs to raise his tension.
Yabu: I also do that. Also, I check out the excellent video compilations of soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo on my smartphone.
Yaotome: You're often watching them in JUMP's dressing room.
Yabu: Also, my tension rises naturally by putting on the humidifier before going to bed, and looking at the hygrometre and see the temperature is 60%! I'm like, "OK!"
Yaotome: I get it! I get it!
Yabu: When it's dry, the humidity drops to around 30% or 20%, but I'm happy if it increases to the ideal humidity.
Yaotome: I often check the year of when a coin has been manufactured. I'm happy when I have a coin of the year I'm born, "Heisei 2nd year" and also, "Reiwa first year".

I want to know your favourite alcohol. Please tell me what you order when you make your first toast. (Nina)
Yaotome: I like alcohol.
Yabu: To a certain extent, everyone can drink.
Yaotome: At the JUMP celebration parties, there is a lot of beer on the tables, so I wonder if the first glass is probably beer. After that, I might not really know what everyone is drinking.
Yabu: At first, I don't really mind and order beer. If I have a small glass and drink two glasses, and after that, there are many highballs.
Yaotome: I have barley shochu!
Yabu: Is that right? I had the image of you drinking rice shochu! At restaurants, don't you often ask, "Do you have rice shochu?".
Yaotome: Yeah. I often have barley shochu or rice shochu. Basically, if you mix it with soda, you get cut lemons.
Yabu: I also mix it with soda and add lemon. By the way, Chinen who has the same highball as me, does not add lemon. He says if you add lemon, the taste of the whiskey will change (laughs).
Yaotome: I don't really know who in the members are strong or weak to alcohol~
Yabu: I'm not that strong, but I might be long to start drinking.
Yaotome: Am I normal?
Yabu: You can't stop saying, "I'm sleepy, so I'm going home".
Yaotome: Yeah, if I'm with my friends who are drinking and I want to talk more, I switch from alcohol to water.
Yabu: That's admirable! I'm making pointless conversation with my friendsー The place I went to was so fun, I didn't want to leave and repeated "1 more glass!" about 5 times... (laughs)
Yaotome: I've seen it (laughs). On the other hand, Yamada doesn't drink that much. I've heard him say he doesn't drink much when he eats.
Yabu: It seems like he wants to enjoy eating and drinking separately. When I drink, will I become full? He also likes white rice.
Yaotome: However, when we went to Fukuoka on this tour, everyone except Yabu went to the food stall, and it was unusual that Yamada was drinking while eating.
Yabu: Eh~ Is that so.
Are there any qualifications you'd like to get? (Rika)
Yabu: At the moment, I have a car license and a 4th grade in soccer refereeing.
Yaotome: I also have a car license. For vehicles, I want a license for a large motorcycle. If I have a touring project on a variety program, I can participate! Besides that, I think it can be used every day.
Yabu: You like cooking, so what would be a good one?
Yaotome: Yeah. A nutritionist or that athlete-like thing...
Yabu: Athlete food meister.
Yaotome: That, that!
Yabu: The one that the athlete's wife tends to choose. I have an interest in child counsellors who can take care of children's hearts because I appear alongside children on variety programs.

Are there any songs that you sang when you were Jrs. that you'd like to sing again? (Ikeyumi)
Yaotome: It's not a song, but when myself and Yabu were back-up for Kinki Kids, both of us were faking.
Yabu: Did that happen?
Yaotome: Wasn't it the song "Just Wanna Lovin' You" by Ya-Ya-Yah that we belonged to when we were Jrs?
Yabu: Is that the song just before, "Just Wanna"?
Yaotome: The song name doesn't come to mind... But I remember at the rehersal when Yabu and I faked it, (Domoto) Tsuyoshi-kun came in and instructed us in great detail, "Both of you should do this more". But with the introduction of Kinki-san's songs, we were singing, right?
Yabu: We were. There were many good songs from the Ya-Ya-Yah era.
Yaotome: There really were many good songs. Like "HA・RU・NA・TSU・A・KI・FU・YA". And "Indigo Blue" I really liked.
Yabu: The title of that song was "Summer x Summer x Summer".
Yaotome: Ah— that's nice!
Yabu: Even after debuting as JUMP, I have often been able to sing songs from the Ya-Ya-Yah era, but after my voice changed, there are also songs I haven't sung much. At that time I was singing recklessly, but if I sing with a slightly adult atmosphere in the key I have now, I think it will be different.
Yaotome: I want to sing it again!
