The cold winter is over and the climate is becoming warm, and new things start in the spring, which is the season where the cheerful spirit rises. But that's not all... Let's dig up the unforgettable memories of spring!
Yamada Ryosuke
For me, it would be the, "Tantei Gakuin Q Special", which was the drama I first appeared in. I still remember the shock of co-starring with Ryuu (Kamiki Ryunosuke). His concentration to get into a role and his presence when standing in front of the camera... everything was amazing. The five members of the Q Class, including Ryuu and me, were really close and even looking back on it now, it was rare to see scenes with my fellow cast members where we were friendly. As soon as the scene is taken, everyone gathered together and did thumb wrestling. Even though it was the setting of a serious murder scene, during the break we were shouting all at once and raising our thumbs while there was an uproar (laughs). Ryuu had already appeared in many dramas and movies at that time, but the first time he cried was when he finished shooting for "Tantei Gakuin Q". Anyway, it was such a fun setting. I spent three years together with Ryuu in the same class, and even now we often message and have a relationship where we occasionally meet. Ryuu can't drink, so I was often called to a cafe at around 11pm and became excited talking about games while drinking tea. Speaking of which, when we are together, we absolutely don't talk about work. But I hope one day I can co-star alongside him again.

Mask
I get a considerable amount of hayfever, so a mask is an essential item. Also, I take medicine to control my symptoms, but the best thing to do is not leave my home. That's why I'm thinking of completely shutting myself in my games room as spring continues (laughs).

Hawaii
I don't want to go anywhere at this time when pollen is scattering about, but Hawaii, which I love, is an exception! I thought that when I went to Hawaii last year, I wanted to prove I could swim, and I want to surf as much as possible on the everlasting island.
Chinen Yuri
Spring is a time where your environment changes drastically when you go onto higher education or finding employment. As I'm a shy person, it's not a season I like much. But when I entered high school, Ryosuke and Yutti were in the same class as me, so I was able to start my new life with a peace of mind. The seats in the classroom were Chinen, Nakajima and Yamada, arranged vertically side-by-side and by the surname syllabary order, so when I'd look over my back, Yutti and Ryosuke were there. Well, Yutti was tall, so I couldn't see Ryosuke that well (laughs). During class, I had fun studying by answering the teacher's questions together with Yutti. Even though I was at school, I was together with members and there might've been a work switch that turned on and an awareness that was working that said "I need to liven up the place!" When it became break time, I would talk a lot to the other students in our class. And then, after school I would go home together with the people I became good friends with... One time we said, "Let's explore the town" so we got off the train at a suitable station near the school and purposely went down an alley to find a delicious ramen restaurant. I remember that I went to the same city a few years after I graduated, but that restaurant wasn't there anymore and I felt lonely.

When it becomes warmer every year, I want to run outside, so for that reason I buy a jersey. I also do the Imperial Palace run, but even if I run alone, there are runners around me and I feel like I'm not alone, so it's fun!

For a while, I lived close to the park so I used to pass through the grounds after school and after work. The colours of the leaves and the smell of the air makes it my favourite place for me to feel the four seasons, as well as spring of course.

The only graduation ceremony I cried at was in elementary school. When I thought I will no longer be able to meet the people I have been with together in an environment that hasn't changed in six years, it is somehow lonely. It was lonely that I couldn't attend the real one. Well, Kinpachi-sensei gave me an autograph with "Ko" written, after the character I play, "Suzuki Kojiro". I put it in a frame and still display it. At a later date, we had a talk and a few months after the graduation ceremony, a junior girl who was at the same middle school as me said, "Yabu-senpai. Do you still have the badge with the school emblem? If you have it, I want it". It's like getting a second button at the graduation ceremony (laughs). Even though I had it, I couldn't help myself so I gave it to her. That girl, I wonder if she still has my school badge and hasn't thrown it away...

Throat lozenges made in Taiwan
Last year and this year, for the second consecutive year it was decided I would have a butai in the spring. Last year, I prepared by buying 10 tins full of Taiwanese throat lozenges online that I have liked for a long time. At the time of the Taiwan lives, I purchased even more. I was confessed to by a so-called childhood friend that I knew when I was little. I don't know how nervous the other person was as I couldn't tell from their appearance. But I also liked them. I think we were both nervous because we were children? Ah, but ever since I was in elementary school, I was confessed to occasionally, so it's possible I might've become used to it (laughs). I was very happy to know that we both had mutual feelings, but at that time I moved and went far away. Maybe it was a coincidence that we confessed at that time. Because from memory, I wouldn't have told anyone I was moving. However, I was satisfied that we could confirm our feelings of love at that time without whether we dated or didn't. No~ it's a cute memory. If you're an adult, you don't have to worry about long distances. Then I became an adult and had the opportunity to meet with the people I was close to at the time. The high school I attended was unique, and there was a debriefing session held at the graduation ceremony, and reporters and also MYOJO came every year to take pictures. When I saw the grand graduation ceremony that my seniors had, I was enthusiastic and thought,"Wow! We will also have a ceremony like this!" Then, it was finally our graduation ceremony! To my surprise, the debriefing session wasn't there (laughs). When I am asked about my memories of graduation and high school life, no matter what is asked, I answer something like this and somehow simulate it. Instead, a celebrated person from our office came and took photos on a small digital camera. You give out those photos in every idol magazine, right? (laughs). I felt sad, but now I have an interesting memory that I can talk about as a joke. I think the graduation ceremony itself was more happy than it was sad. It was a school where the rules were very strict, so I felt as if I had been released. After graduation, the things I could do immediately increased and I was euphoric! ♪ It's interesting when I meet my classmates from that time again occasionally at work. When I see them for the first time in a while, we sometimes talk about high school. Things like how the sports festival was held in a random and far place, or how the school cafeteria was great. By the way, on the days I didn't my bento box, I would go and eat katsudon.

I was invited by the people I'm surrounded by to camp, but since winter has many hurdles for beginners, I plan to participate in spring. Even though everyone seems to go together, at the actual site, it seems you can solo camp. I think I will buy my own set and study it without relying on other people.

From the house I lived in when I was little, I could see a row of cherry blossom trees. For some reason, there was only one cherry blossom tree that was illuminated. My home room teacher in my third year of elementary school was a male teacher who was in charge of science. When I was in elementary school, things like homework were hard. But that teacher always gave us fun homework and said, "Everyone, let's pick up the most beautiful rocks you can find!". Even if you drew a bad picture when he gave an art assignment, he was a kind person who said, "It's okay, because it's your personality." They were good at shortening the distance between the students and when I noticed it, I really liked it. When I went up from elementary school year 3 to elementary school year 4, it was decided that teacher would transfer to another school. It was sad he wasn't in my home room, but I couldn't believe he was gone from my elementary school, and at the end-of-term ceremony, everyone cried. Around that time, everyone was obsessed with the movie "Spirited Away" and students and teachers had seen it. In the final scene of that movie, Haku says to Chihiro, "Don't turn back!", but that teacher mixed his own words into that famous quote and gave us a final message. With that thought in mind, my friends and I hugged our teacher, then he left the classroom and said, "You can never look back." as he left looking straight ahead. When I remember that day, I'm still sad.

In the final scene of that movie, Haku says to Chihiro, "Don't turn back!", but that teacher mixed his own words into that famous quote and gave us a final message. With that thought in mind, my friends and I hugged our teacher, then he left the classroom and said, "You can never look back." as he left looking straight ahead. When I remember that day, I'm still sad.

Spring clothes
It got warmer earlier this year, so I already bought some clothes for spring in February. Things like a light-coloured check shirt and a light grey blouson. I plan to wear clothes that have an awareness of spring.

Along Meguro river
I was a member of the drama, "3-nen B-gumi Kinpachi-sensei", and since I've been in my 20's, I've gone to see the cherry blossoms at night along the Meguro river. I didn't know the word for "cherry blossoms at night" (yozakura), so I told people, "I see the cherry blossoms illuminated at night". It was very beautiful. ♪
