About your merchandise

I wanted to create something that everyone could carry around in their bags and that would make them feel happy just by looking at it, so I decided on zip bags featuring photos of the members for my produced goods. With that thought in mind, I wanted to use funny face shots. The packaging is stylish, with an industrial-like design.

I also thought about the combinations of members. With JUMP, any combination creates an exciting photo, so I think we ended up with some good ones. I especially insisted on making the photo of Hey! Say! 7 in size S. I thought it could showcase their cuteness by tightly fitting these three members, who are always seen as small, into small zip bags.
I often use zip bags too-for storing masks, keeping small instruction manuals, and so on. I'm pretty meticulous (laughs). When you take your favourite cosmetics and small bottles of shampoo when you travel, I'd be happy if you could use these zip bags and feel our presence even when you're away.

About your new album, "PULL UP!"

'Daikisuki na Kimi e' is a song from the perspective of a pet, depicting the moments from meeting their owner to the inevitable separation. I think it's a song that captures the universal emotions of people who own pets, and personally, it really moved me because I lost a pet last year. 'Ano Hi no Yume wo Misasete yo' was actually a candidate song for the theme of Junai Dissonance, so I have a personal attachment to it. For the album recording, the song had an emotional arrangement that was different from the original demo, which left a strong impression on me.

Uru-san, who provided the music, has such a distinctive voice, so we had to figure out how best to express it when we sang. It was a hard challenge, but when JUMP's voices were added in a male key, the song changed colours and turned into a wonderful piece.
And 'Tiki Don' is a completely new attempt for us. One of JUMP's strengths is that we can come up with ideas we've never tried before like this. Dai-chan was heavily involved in the album production, and the songs turned out really good. It must have been challenging to decide on the track order that brings out the strengths of each song, but I think that was also one of the fun challenges of this album!

What do you want to "PULL UP"?

Lately, I've been paying attention to where I place my centre of gravity in my body. To know the correct centre of gravity, it's important to figure out where the most load is being placed and which muscles have the most strain when standing.
As I researched this and that, I deepened my knowledge, and now, by looking at a human anatomy app, I can identify specific body parts and go, "That's it!" (laughs). I can even explain this in detail during a massage. For example, if I say "from the tensor fasciae latae muscle to the iliotibial band," they're professionals, so they'll immediately understand. It's more accurate than just saying "the middle of my back" or "the rhomboid muscle."

By the way, what I'm currently doing is practising standing with my weight centred on the arch of my foot. I'm PULLING UP this knowledge because "that's where the bones are!" (laughs).

In the end, people tend to adopt comfortable positions that put strain on some part of their body, but being mindful of the centre of gravity changes your posture. That's why, even when I'm sitting, I discreetly check my centre of gravity by thinking, "Where can I sit most comfortably? Here it is."

Message for fans

I can only feel grateful that we are able to hold a big event like the dome tour every year during the New Year's period, and I truly appreciate it deeply. I want to create a fun concert this tour where the eight of us and all the fans can have a great time together.

That enjoyable space is made possible by the reactions of those who come, so I hope everyone brings their excitement and positive energy to the venue. More than anything, I want the concerts to be a place of comfort for everyone.

By welcoming 2024 together, I hope we can share the feeling that we'll continue walking forward side by side. To put it a bit dramatically, this tour is a fun kick-off party! Please come with peace of mind and look forward to it.
